What a week in Barcelona really costs
Prices collected 19 October 2026 for travel 3 Dec–10 Dec 2026 · one traveller · 7 nights · EUR
Barcelona is the steadiest fare market in this batch. The cheapest and median quotes from Lisbon sit 6% apart, effectively one price all week, so unlike Rome, date flexibility buys you little here. Budget the flight at €126 and move on to the part of the trip you can actually manage.
The manageable part is generous. Mid-range food costs €58 a day, the softest figure of the six European cities here, and the grocery table below explains why: Barcelona feeds itself cheaply, and the markets are open to visitors whether or not they cook. The sightseeing line of €33 is dominated by one decision, Gaudí. The major works all charge, all cap entries, and all sell out; booking them ahead is a scheduling task, not a budget one.
Transport is €19 a day and the metro covers the whole visit; a stay that never takes a taxi is normal here. The classic budget warning is different: the Ramblas premium. The same coffee costs twice a street away, and the food table's budget tier is what the side streets eat on.
Flights
